Fans were saying the same thing about the San Francisco 49ers after the NFL’s compensatory pick designation was announced this week.
The Niners have again been handed a plethora of picks as the league has announced a total of 34 ahead of the upcoming NFL Draft.
San Francisco was awarded five selections: No. 99 in the third round, No. 132 in the fourth, No. 175 in the fifth, and Nos. 211 and 215 in the sixth.

Still, they won’t get to keep all of them as the third-round pick will be given to the Washington Commanders due to the mid-season trade they made for edge rusher Chase Young.
The Niners will have 10 picks in the upcoming draft following this development, with first, second, third, and two fourth-rounders. They will also have a fifth, two sixths, and two in the seventh round.
