Football fans had the same complaint about ESPN’s broadcast of the Pittsburgh Steelers-Baltimore Ravens broadcast on Saturday afternoon.
The showdown at A&T Bank Stadium was hit hard by rain, and it clearly affected ESPN’s cameras for the broadcast:

Last week, the NFL announced that ESPN would get a Saturday doubleheader for Week 18 of the 2023 season. The Worldwide Leader In Sports aired the Steelers-Ravens game and will also broadcast the Indianapolis Colts-Houston Texans evening game.
The Steelers won 17-10 to finish the regular season with a 10-7 record. They will get into the postseason if the Buffalo Bills (at Miami Dolphins) lose, if the Jacksonville Jaguars lose (at Tennessee Titans) or if the Colts-Texans game ends in a tie.
