Detroit Lions linebacker Alex Anzalone had a heartwarming player intro during Sunday night’s clash against the Minnesota Vikings.
The Lions and Vikings are playing the last game of the regular season, with the NFC’s No. 1 seed on the line. Both teams come into the fixture boasting 14-2 records.
Anzalone’s intro stood out during the first quarter as he described himself as a “father of two.” Check it out in the video below:

Alex Anzalone Has Been An Important Player For Detroit
Alex Anzalone was selected in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints and established himself as a starter in his first year before a shoulder injury put him on the injured reserve.
He has been with the Lions since 2021 and has been a key player in their defensive unit.
Since entering the league, Anzalone has registered 336 solo tackles, 175 assists, 10.5 sacks, two fumble recoveries, and three interceptions.
The Lions were leading 7-0 early in the second quarter at the time of writing.
