Jalen Hurts Drew First Blood
Jalen Hurts put the Eagles ahead with an impressive 44-yard run early in the first quarter.
The former Alabama and Oklahoma signal-caller has always been a threat on his feet, which was pretty apparent early on. But the Eagles missed the ensuing extra-point attempt, allowing the Rams to take the lead after getting into the end zone themselves.
Hurts had just taken a sack for a three-and-out at the time of writing.
