NFL fans are destroying EA Sports’ new Madden 25 video game after uncovering yet another flaw in this year’s edition.
EA Sports released the Madden 25 video game on Friday for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Windows consoles. And let’s just say that it didn’t take long for fans to find another glaring issue with the new installment.
The @brewsngames TikTok account posted a video of the Super Bowl celebration in the new Madden video game. The Super Bowl champions (in this video, the Dallas Cowboys) are hardly celebrating, and the announcers don’t seem all that enthused.
X/Twitter user @FredisFunny shared side-by-side video comparisons of the Madden 25 and Madden 11 Super Bowl celebrations. As you can see in the other video, Madden 11 developers put a lot more effort and creativity into the Super Bowl celebration:
And as you’d expect, football fans didn’t have a lot of nice things to say about the new video game after seeing this video:

San Francisco 49ers superstar running back Christian McCaffrey is on the cover for this year’s installment. He’s the first RB to appear on the game cover in 11 years (Barry Sanders and Adrian Peterson) as well as the first 49er to have the honors since Garrison Hearst (1999).
Madden 25 Is Still Going To Be A Moneymaker For EA Sports
This is a recurring theme with EA Sports’ video games in general. Fans always complain about how the new installment is worse than the previous year’s. Game developers promise significant improvements, and the new installment sells millions of copies. Fans rip on the game but still buy the new Madden each year anyway. Rinse and repeat.
Fans can critique the game all they want, but EA Sports doesn’t have to drastically alter their games when copies continue to be sold at giant rates. As always, this year’s game will rake in the millions and remind EA Sports that the “Madden” franchise remains as popular as ever.
