Football fans believe that Los Angeles Rams legend Aaron Donald just hinted at an NFL comeback, not even four months after he announced his retirement.
Aaron Donald flirted with retirement after leading the Rams to a Super Bowl 56 championship in the 2021 season. He played two more years before deciding to walk away after 10 years, finishing with 111 sacks, 24 forced fumbles and 176 tackles for a loss.

Aaron Donald stated in March that he retired because he lost the passion to continue playing and that he was “burnt out”, per Stu Jackson of the team’s official website. As it turns out, Donald told head coach Sean McVay, “That’s it” following the team’s Wild Card Round loss to the Detroit Lions.
Donald walks away as the greatest defensive player of his generation: Pro Bowl nods in each of his 10 seasons, along with eight First-team All-Pro selections, three Defensive Player of the Year awards, a spot on the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team and of course a Super Bowl 56 ring.
Aaron Donald Can Still Play
In his age-32 season, Donald showed no signs of slowing down whatsoever. He had eight sacks and 16 tackles for a loss, helping the Rams sneak back into the postseason following a forgettable 2022 season and failed championship defense.
Donald has kept himself in pristine shape this year, not allowing retirement to keep him away from the gym. If he decides he wants to continue playing, you just know the Rams would be more than happy to bring him back in a push for another championship.
