Jayden Daniels is on cloud nine.
On Sunday, Daniels compiled 268 yards and two touchdowns on 24-of-35 passing while adding a team-high 36 rushing yards as he put his Washington Commanders team in position to kick a game-winning field goal and secure a Wild card victory over the Tampa Bay Bucs.
Among his accomplishments was social media diving into his past.
There was a point in 2022 when teammates at Arizona State turned into enemies after he decided he wanted to transfer elsewhere.
The then-Arizona State quarterback entered the NCAA transfer portal, and his teammates wasted no time cleaning out his locker and disrespecting him.

Jayden Daniels would go on to win the Heisman.
In the 2023 season, Daniels scored 50 touchdowns. He would throw 40 of them and score 10 of them rushing the ball. That year, he also led the NCAA with 4,946 total yards.
Daniels won the Heisman Trophy as he beat out Oregon quarterback Bo Nix and Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.
Fans reacted to the old video now that Daniels has continued to thrive:
“I wonder where that ASU player is now,” one fan said.

“It’s crazy how he made the playoffs went 12-5 was number 2 draft basically is probably gonna be rookie of the year commanders and it’s funny how bad this players take is and he’s probably not in the league,” a third fan added.

Commanders Rookie Jayden Daniels Makes History In Wild Card Game
Jayden Daniels is continuing his historic season for the Washington Commanders.
Daniels set a new standard for rookie quarterbacks during the regular season, and now the former LSU star has stolen the headlines in his first playoff game.
Daniels helped lead the Washington Commanders to their first playoff victory in almost 2 decades.
Daniels became just the 12th quarterback in NFL history to win his first playoff start in his rookie year. The last one was just in 2023 with J Stroud.
