Football fans had the same complaint about the NFL refs during the Dallas Cowboys-New York Giants “Thursday Night Football” game at MetLife Stadium today.
In the first half alone of the NFC East showdown, NFL refs called a whopping 12(!) penalties. Dallas committed nine penalties for 70 yards, and the Giants were penalized thrice for 25 yards.
TNF play-by-play announcer Al Michaels couldn’t help but constantly voice his annoyance and displeasure with the flags. But the legendary commentator was not alone, with countless fans also expressing their unhappiness over all the on-field laundry:
