The Houston Texans just took a massive loss to their defense.
The team did not want to sign the DE/OLB to a longterm deal that he wanted and elected to franchise tag him instead. That made Clowney holdout from the team for the entire training camp and every single preseason game.
On Saturday, it was announced that Clowney would be sent to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for a third-round pick, linebacker Jacob Martin and pass rusher Barkevious Mingo.
That trade was so bad, that even Madden NFL 20 wouldn’t allow it.
Texans fans definitely wanted an offensive lineman or running back out of the deal, and they got neither.
What a terrible trade.
