Running backs have been in injury hell just two weeks into the new year.
The injuries continued to pile up on Thursday as the Indianapolis Colts lost a player for the year.
According to NFL Insider Jordan Schultz, Indianapolis Colts rookie running back Evan Hull, who’s currently on injured reserve, will miss the remainder of the 2023 season with a torn meniscus.
Unavailability has been a constant in the Colts’ backfield, which remains without Jonathan Taylor as well.
The 22-year-old was selected by the Colts with the No. 176 overall pick in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft out of Northwestern.
This year, he appeared in one game for the Colts and rushed once for one yard, and caught his only target for six yards.

The rookie 5th-round pick out of Northwestern rushed for 2,417 yards on 488 carries to go along with 94 receptions for 851 yards receiving and 22 total touchdowns over the course of his college career.
