Jalen Reagor has a lot to prove this year as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, according to Stephen A. Smith.
Smith is a man who spends an incalculable number of hours each week on ESPN and its various properties. He’s bound to make a mistake or two.
On Wednesday, during a discussion about the Eagles with SiriusXM host Chris “Mad Dog” Russo, Smith laid out his reasons as why the Eagles have a better shot to win the NFC East than the Dallas Cowboys.
Unfortunately, Smith may have missed a big trade that sent wide receiver Jalen Reagor to the Minnesota Vikings.
“Yes, Jalen Hurts has a lot to prove,” Smith said. “Then you acquire A.J. Brown. You put him with DeVonta Smith. You got that going on. Reagor’s got something to prove this year, but the three of them is a great, great thing.”
Reagor does have something to prove, but it’ll have to happen while he’s in Minnesota.

The second mistake Smith made was saying Philadelphia could have “some issues” at safety this fall. The front office addressed that weakness by acquiring C.J. Gardner-Johnson from the New Orleans Saints.
Get this man some much-needed time off, ESPN.
