ESPN NFL analyst Ryan Clark was not happy with the NFL this week as he went off about its new taunting policy on NFL Live on Tuesday.
Clark and Marcus Spears both are not pleased with the new rule, saying that there needs to be some kind of clarification from the NFL as to what exactly the rule is and what players can or cannot do that might get them penalized.
Clark gave the most passionate speech of the two.
“You mean to tell me on that one play I gotta calm all that down that went into this because somebody who can’t do what I do, who ain’t never done what I’ve done … gets offended by it? Man, I wish I frickin’ would.”
Referee Tony Corrente called taunting on the Chicago Bears Cassius Marsh after he made a key sack that looked like it stopped a drive by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Marsh made a gesture towards the Steelers and as he was going back to the bench, bumped into an official and was penalized.
