Odell Beckham Jr. has long been a fan of Tom Brady, as displayed when he gave the QB a pair of goat-hair cleats after a game in 2019.
Tom Brady just finished his first season with the Tampa Bay Bucs where he led the team to its first Super Bowl victory since 2002, which also gave him his seventh ring.
Tampa Bay has important decisions to make this offseason on the likes of Shaq Barrett, Lavonte David, Chris Godwin, Rob Gronkowski, and Ndamukong Suh. ESPN insider Jeff Darlington believes the team could come back even stronger next season by obtaining Odell Beckham Jr.
“I’m going to say Odell Beckham. I’m going to say that because of the relationship between Tom Brady and Odell, fully understanding that this would take a lot to actually make this happen,” Darlington said on ESPN’s Get Up. “Keep in mind that Tom Brady did not before the start of this season pitch Jason Licht on the idea of Odell coming down to Tampa despite the fact that those guys would like to play together at some point.
“I say this because I can see going into this offseason with Odell being in a situation where he feels more expendable to the Browns than he was last year that perhaps Jason Licht would make the call.”
After suffering a season-ending injury last season, Odell sat back and watched the team flourish without him as they qualified for the postseason and defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Wild Card round.

The team may just want to move on from him if it means getting other assets.
