The relationship between the Philadelphia Eagles and Carson Wentz is all but fractured, according to a Sunday morning report by Chris Mortensen.
The Eagles, who have already been eliminated from the playoffs, will start Jalen Hurts under center for their final game of the year after benching Wentz a few weeks ago.
On Sunday, ESPN proposed a blockbuster trade between the Eagles and the Colts in their offseason predictions column.
The trade: Colts receive Carson Wentz, Eagles receive a 2021 NFL Draft third-round pick and a conditional 2022 selection.
If Wentz is willing to scale back some of his money on his massive contract, he can most certainly move on to another franchise.
