David Jacoby dropped some major news this week.
After spending over two decades with ESPN, it is time for him to head to the next chapter of his life and career. Taking to Twitter, he announced it was a mutual decision between him and the company to part ways.
“It’s time,” Jacoby tweeted. “After 23 years with ESPN, we have mutually decided to move on. I’ve learned everything I know there, met my best friends there, met my wife there, and leave with zero regrets. I can’t wait to share what’s next.”
Many expect him to take his talents to The Ringer, which was founded by Bill Simmons. He currently co-hosts Ringer Food, a Ringer podcast with Juliet Litman.
Jacoby first joined ESPN in 1999. Before his announcement, he was the co-host of Jalen & Jacoby, and has also served as a guest host on other ESPN programs, including SportsNation.
We can’t wait to see his next move in his prominent career.
