Tom Brady has made it seem as though he will play football forever. And with the way he’s been playing and winning championships well into his 40s, there aren’t many who are dumb enough to doubt him at the moment.
But one NFL insider at ESPN seems to believe this could be Brady’s final hurrah. And there’s reason to trust him, as he has worked closely with Brady and the Patriots organization over the years, having just released a book on the franchise back in October titled, “It’s Better To Be Feared.”
In a recent article on ESPN, some of their top analysts were asked for their thought on a few of the biggest storylines heading into this year’s NFL postseason. When asked for his thoughts about Green Bay’s chances, Seth Wickersham dropped this bombshell about Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady:
This is just a hunch, but I’m predicting that this will be the last playoff run for three future Hall of Fame quarterbacks with their current teams. We know that the Steelers’ Ben Roethlisberger will retire. But I think Tom Brady will, too. And finally, Aaron Rodgers will leave Green Bay after another season without reaching the Super Bowl.
Wow! Not only is he predicting Rodgers to leave Lambeau after another failed Super Bowl run, but he’s calling a Tom Brady retirement, too?
If Seth Wickersham has his way, we could be seeing quite the quarterback carousel around the NFL this offseason. Buckle up!
