ESPN could’ve used a much better picture than what they went with after Super Bowl 57.
The Chiefs beat the Eagles in the Super Bowl on Sunday night. Following the game, ESPN put out a Mahomes-Hurts social media graphic.
“Patrick Mahomes did that. He and the Chiefs are Super Bowl champs!” the caption reads.
The accompanying picture shows Mahomes standing over Hurts, who was seated on his butt. ESPN has since deleted the photo due to the backlash, but not before someone could save a screenshot:

Philadelphia was aiming to win its second Super Bowl after winning its first championship against the New England Patriots five years ago. They held a 10-point lead in the third quarter and a six-point lead in the fourth, only for Mahomes to find Kadarius Toney with a touchdown pass with 12 minutes remaining to put the Chiefs in front for the first time.
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts would soon tie the game with a record-breaking third rushing touchdown of the night. On top of his three rushing touchdowns, the 24-year-old Hurts also passed for one score and completed 27 of his 38 passes for 304 yards.
He had an awesome night. He deserved more than the graphic ESPN pushed out.
