Former NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky is taking heat online after making what some fans consider to be a racial slur towards Joe Flacco.
The Browns QB is the biggest thing in Cleveland since LeBron James, having come in as a late replacement for Deshaun Watson to fire the team to the playoffs. The Browns can also go into the postseason as AFC North winners, as well as the No. 1 seed in the AFC, though it would require multiple teams to lose their remaining games.
Flacco is 4-1 in five starts for the Browns during which he’s quickly managed to throw for 1,616 yards and 13 touchdowns. And, though he’s not solely responsible for the achievement, he’s the one who’s been soaking up all the praise following Thursday night’s playoff-clinching win over the New York Jets.
Orlovsky, now an analyst at ESPN, took to X to jokingly refer to Flacco as the “greatest cracker of all time” by pointing to a previous tweet showing a sesame cracker he must have really enjoyed with a quote tweet bearing: “Joe Flacco?”
Many found the post amusing but others felt Dan took his praise a bit too far.

While Orlovsky is unlikely to get into trouble over this and most users found it funny, he’s probably going to have to be more careful now.
