Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson could be on the move this offseason as his valuation of himself remains far from what the NFL franchise seems to price him at.
The former league MVP and two-time Pro Bowl star is said to be looking for a fully-guaranteed contract similar to what Deshaun Watson got from the Cleveland Browns last year and the Ravens are thought to be peeved.
First Take host Stephen A. Smith has offered a contradictory report, claiming he was told by someone from Jackson’s camp that the player has never asked for a fully-guaranteed deal but the Ravens are unwilling to guarantee anything north of $130 million.
The truth of the matter is still unknown but it’s clear that the relationship between the player and the team is frayed and trade rumors have been aplenty as a result.
One NFL team has emerged as a favorite to land the QB, but ESPN insider Jeff Darlington suggested that the Miami Dolphins could be in the mix for Jackson during Wednesday morning’s episode of Get Up.

Jackson does seem disenchanted with Baltimore and is actually a Florida native. He could be tempted by the prospect of throwing passes to the likes of Tyreek hill and Jaylen Waddle. The Dolphins, on the other hand, would become a real threat in the AFC should they land a player of Jackson’s caliber.
This isn’t to discount Tua Tagovailoa’s production. The QB was having a great season before concussions derailed it and he did enough to help the team get to the playoffs. But there are concerns over his head injuries and Miami might not want to pass up on the opportunity to sign another top-rated signal-caller should one come knocking.
