During a recent episode of ESPN’s Get Up, former offensive lineman Damien Woody called out Elliott for being completely missing after Jerry Jones talked him up during the offseason.
“Jerry Jones talked about Ezekiel Elliott,” Woody said. “Where is he? Where is Zeke? He’s on the back of a milk carton. He’s supposed to be eating and doing all that stuff. Where’s he eating at?”
Ezekiel Elliott averaged just over 5 yards a carry on Sunday. Dallas had some success on the ground but found themselves behind the chains too many times.
It led to them scoring just 3 points all game long.
The penalties did them no favors, but the offense had plenty of chances to continue to run the ball between the tackles, and they just flat-out went away from it.
