Erin Andrews dropped a personal announcement ahead of the highly-anticipated 2023 NFL season.
Both college and pro football have returned in recent weeks, with the latter kicking things off on Thursday with a game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Detroit Lions before returning with several more fixtures on Sunday.
Erin, a favorite among football fans, has been very open about her experiences with infertility. And, this year, she found a way to work around it as she announced having welcomed her first child through the surrogate method.
Apart from her coverage of America’s favorite game, the 45-year-old has been a voice for women who suffer from the aforementioned problem and had some advice in an interview with Glamour earlier this year.
“Women may be intimidated to talk about fertility with men. Sometimes we don’t want to have the conversation about just getting engaged. Imagine having to broach the subject of fertility,” she offered.
“That’s not easy either. But honestly, my advice to any woman is just do your thing. And until you become a unit, you have to worry about you. And that’s something I was proud of myself for doing. But obviously things got real for us.”
Andrews has been back in the thick of things since football returned. But she has a lot more on her plate now, with a presumably active baby boy at home.
