Sportscaster Erin Andrews married former NHL star Jarret Stoll in 2017. That moment would’ve never happened if it wasn’t for an NFL legend.
Andrews was actually set up with Stoll through a mutual friend – legendary NFL star Michael Strahan.
“Can you set me up with Erin Andrews?” Stoll reportedly texted Strahan.
Andrews was reportedly reluctant to do so, but she would eventually agree and things changed for her as we see they have a loving family today.
The twosome has since welcomed a baby boy into the world earlier this summer. The FOX sportscaster and her retired NHL player husband welcomed their first baby — a boy named Mack — in late June, via surrogate. This was a welcome moment for their family following a 9-year-long fertility journey.
The sportscaster underwent IVF treatments for several years and had her life change in 2016 after she was diagnosed with cervical cancer. At the time of her diagnosis, she had already frozen eggs, and the couple then underwent treatment to produce embryos.
Andrews and Stoll would later experience a devastating pregnancy loss before they finally got their son.

“We lost twins via surrogacy and that was really hard,” she says. “I really struggled mentally. I didn’t handle it very well … I kind of tried to push it aside and act like everything was OK.”
The longtime NFL reporter deserves nothing but happy times in a life that has been quite difficult.
This year, Andrews worked her fourth Super Bowl on Sunday, as the Chiefs defeated the Eagles in Arizona. It was the first time she was accompanied by Tom Rinaldi after spending the last two Super Bowls alongside Chris Myers, who transitioned to play-by-play.
Although sideline reporters’ salaries aren’t as public as in-booth broadcasters, Andrews is paid exceptionally well for being among the most well-known in the business.
Her salary is roughly $2 million per year.
