Eric Reid is a former LSU standout who is now a safety for the Carolina Panthers, but even he can see something wrong with his Alma Mater and the unveiling of a rather expensive new locker room.
Over the weekend, LSU dropped pictures and videos of a brand spanking new $28 million locker room that came complete with sleeping pods and individualized TVs.
“This 28 million renovation was really based around the athletes, to function the way an athlete needs to function,” said LSU Director of Equipment Greg Stringfellow. “To cater to those guys.”
Carolina Panthers safety Eric Reid would take to Twitter and seemingly called out college football’s misplaced priorities. Reid mentioned LSU players not seeing any of the money that their program is willing to spend.
He then began to respond to people firing back at his opinion:

Reid played for the Tigers from 2010 to 2012, serving as a member of their SEC Championship-winning team in 2011.
