Eric Ebron arrived in Indianapolis in 2018 and had an outstanding season as he scored 13 touchdowns and seriously looked like one of the best tight ends in all of football.
The 2019 season was a different story as he went from 66 catches, 750 yards, and 13 TD’s to 31 catches for 375 yards and 3 touchdowns, but he did suffer a season-ending injury that ended his year prematurely. He will not be back with the Colts in 2020, not because he doesn’t want to, but because Colts General Manager Chris Ballard said, “We’ll probably move on,” when asked about Ebron coming back to the team.
Ebron, who becomes a free agent in March, appeared to be making a business decision on Saturday as he took to Twitter to praise Deshaun Watson for his performance and win over the Buffalo Bills in the Houston Texans’ 22-19 playoff win.
He then replied to another Twitter user who suggested Ebron might be in Houston next year by posting a picture of them together.

Ebron can deliver on offense with the right QB, however, his blocking has been regarded among the worst in the NFL throughout his career. If Ebron can improve this facet of his game, the Texans might come calling.
