Pittsburgh Steelers players are not happy after today’s announcement that their Thanksgiving game against the Baltimore Ravens has been moved to Sunday after the COVID-19 outbreak among the Ravens worsened.
Baltimore added three more players — offensive linemen Patrick Mekari and Matt Skura and defensive end Calais Campbell — to the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday.
Steelers tight end Eric Ebron called the postponement “bullshit.”
Ebron offered a little more explanation for why he was so unhappy with the postponement as he agreed with NFL analyst Warren Sharp saying the Steelers “keep getting screwed” by the NFL in regard to postponed games.
“The Steelers keep getting screwed by the NFL while teams they are in direct competition with in the AFC (Titans & Ravens) get massively boosted. Meanwhile San Francisco is forced to play without half their roster. We know the season is crazy but at least try to make it fair, NFL,” Sharp said.
Ebron responded with a bullseye emoji.

Pittsburgh previously lost its bye week because the league juggled the schedule after a COVID-19 outbreak on the Titans.
This time, the Steelers lose their mini-bye week with the Thanksgiving game being moved to Sunday.
This marks the 13th game that has been postponed or moved this season because of coronavirus-related issues.
