Eric Dickerson is piping hot mad over the Tim Tebow news from this week.
Earlier this week, it was reported that the Jacksonville Jaguars were on tap to sign Tim Tebow to a 1-year deal, but to play a position he has never done in his life: Tight end.
Tebow’s likely return to the NFL has ignited a new controversy after angry fans voiced frustration that Tebow is receiving another shot in the big leagues while Colin Kaepernick remains sidelined.
Hall of Fame running back Eric Dickerson is one of those people. TMZ Sports caught up with him recently and he did not mince words on the situation.
“Oh, man, come on,” the Rams legend said. “You know what I think about that. That’s bulls. That’s bullshit.”

“That’s bulls***,” Dickerson repeated for a third time. “That’s how the NFL is. You know, it’s different for us. I’ll say that.”
Dickerson says the entire thing boils down to race on why Tebow is getting another shot and not Colin Kaepernick.
“Of course [Kaepernick] is getting punished. He’s black.”
“It’s a different league for us. It’s the truth and we know it. And I hate that because it’s wrong.”
Kaepernick has not played in a regular-season NFL game since the 2016 season.
