A heartwarming father-daughter ad is going viral ahead of the Super Bowl given that it’s inspired by Taylor Swift.
It’s hard to imagine a company such as Cetaphil making an ad for the Super Bowl, but that’s exactly the case in this instance. It’s the season of Swift after all, so beauty and skincare companies are jumping in on the fun as they know that there will be a larger female audience when the Super Bowl airs this Sunday.
The ad in question shows a “real father and daughter, living in New York” who bond over football because of Taylor on the back of his many failed attempts to ignite her interest.
The daughter prefers spending time on her phone and caring for her skin but joins her father on the couch after the announcer is heard saying: “Well folks, there she is. It’s the most famous fan of the game.”
While Swift isn’t mentioned, it isn’t hard to figure out who’s being referenced. There’s also another clue in the fact that several friendship bracelets appear.
“Dads and daughters everywhere have gotten closer because of a certain globe-trotting eras singer screaming from the football sidelines, and we’re here for it,” Cetaphil says in the caption.

“So this season, we’re inviting dads and daughters to get closer to each other’s worlds – daughters sharing their love for skincare and dads sharing their love for the game.”
