Emmanuel Moseley deserved better but his body is failing him.
The Detroit Lions had another dominant performance in Week 5 against the Carolina Panthers, but they didn’t come away unscathed in terms of injuries. In an unfortunate development, the Detroit Lions career of cornerback Emmanuel Moseley might have lasted exactly two plays.
Moseley was excited about playing his first game Sunday in nearly a year, since tearing the ACL in his left knee in the San Francisco 49ers’ game against the Carolina Panthers. That was Week 5.
In Week 5 in 2023, he tore his right ACL and his season is over.
On Moseley’s first snap, Panthers left guard Chandler Zavala suffered a neck injury and was taken off the field on a backboard and then his injury would happen on his next snap.

It’s an incredibly rough break for Moseley, who will miss the remainder of the season and have to repeat the rehab process again.
Last season before his injury, he appeared in five games for the 49ers and recorded 21 total tackles, one interception returned for a touchdown, and five pass deflections.
