Evander “The Real Deal” Holyfield dominated boxing for much of the 1980s and 90s. His good genes led to his son having a stellar career with the Georgia Bulldogs, but the same cannot be said for his pro career.
Former Georgia running back Elijah Holyfield has been putting in the work to finally get his NFL career on track and it shows in his work ethic and his body.
A video surfaced showing Holyfield looking so shredded that he could be in a bodybuilder contest.
Elijah Holyfield – the son of boxing legend Evander Holyfield – was carted off the field during training camp with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2022.
Bengals, who signed Holyfield to a future/reserves contract just months before, placed him on the injured reserve.
During his three-year career at Georgia, Holyfield rushed for only 1,340 yards and nine touchdowns, but it’s worth noting that 1,018 of those yards and seven of those touchdowns came during his final season. He also averaged 6.4 yards per carry in 2018.

If he can stay healthy and show he has a burst from the backfield, he could possibly see himself on a training camp squad in 2023.
