Eli Manning waited until he was 39-years-old and retired from the NFL to finally join Twitter.
The retired New York Giants quarterback started his Twitter account on Saturday and posted his first tweet, which was him referencing Indiana high school basketball player Jimmy Chitwood from “Hoosiers.”
“Once a Giant, Always a Giant, Only a Giant.”
It didn’t take long for Tom Brady to notice, so he quote-tweeted him by taking a savage shot at his old rival.
In both Super Bowl XLII and Super Bowl XLVI, the Giants trailed in the final quarter but Manning led comebacks to win the Lombardi Trophy.
