Ed Reed accidentally thanked the wrong coach during his Pro Football Hall of Fame induction speech.
It all went down on Saturday night when reed was trying to recognize former head coach Brian Billick, but accidentally thanked New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.
Billick coached Reed from 2002-07, while Belichick was one of Reed’s rivals throughout his tenure.
As for Billick, he spent the better part of the last week praising his former free safety as he referred to him as “Maybe the smartest player I ever had.”
