Earl Thomas’ bad 2020 continues.
The free agent star’s wife has filed for divorce, citing adultery, TMZ reported Saturday — seven months after police said she held him at gunpoint after finding him in bed with two women and his brother, Seth.
“According to court records, Nina Thomas put in the paperwork on Nov. 3 … citing adultery as the grounds for ending the marriage.
Nina added in the docs that the couple has such a strained relationship … there’s zero “reasonable expectation of reconciliation.”
It was back in April when Nina Thomas tracked down her husband at a rental house where she later admitted she pointed the pistol at Earl Thomas’ head “with the intent to scare him,” according to a police affidavit.
The 31-year-old was arrested on a felony charge of burglary of a habitation with the intent to commit aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
In July, Earl Thomas was released from his four-year, $55 million ($32 million guaranteed) contract with the Ravens after reportedly punching a teammate during practice and no team has signed him since. The 31-year-old was close to signing with Houston in October but Texans players reportedly “expressed their displeasure about bringing Thomas into the locker room.”
Earl and Nina Thomas wed in 2016 and have three children together.
