The saga between Earl Thomas and his former wife has reached another chapter.
Earl, who won the Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks in 2013, was allegedly defrauded of nearly $3 million worth of money and property by his estranged wife, according to TMZ.
Court documents obtained by TMZ show Thomas allegedly began taking money from the seven-time Pro Bowler soon after she filed for a divorce from him in 2020.
With the assistance of another party, she was able to transfer assets out of Earl Thomas bank account and into her own.
Among the things that she purchased were breast implants and a Hermes Birkin handbag, per TMZ.
The good times ended after Nina was taken into custody and charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud money laundering, and aggravated identity theft.
TMZ reports that Nina Thomas, the estranged wife of Earl Thomas, was hit with multiple criminal charges this week after prosecutors say she swindled the ex-Seattle Seahawks star out of millions of dollars.

This isn’t the first time that Nina has had some ties to trying to take money from Earl Thomas.
In 2023, Nina’s new boyfriend was arrested for allegedly stealing Earl’s identity in a $1.9 million scam.
Kevin J. Thompson was accused of cashing Thomas’ NFL checks and transferring car ownership for several vehicles.

Former Baltimore Ravens star Earl Thomas hasn’t been the same ever since he was held at gunpoint by his ex-wife after she caught him in bed having a threesome with his brother.
Nina Thomas was arrested in 2020 for holding her husband up at gunpoint after she caught him cheating with another woman.
Nina found footage of Earl with another woman on his Snapchat account, so she tracked him down to a nearby Airbnb and “discovered Earl and (his brother) Seth naked in bed with other women,” as TMZ first reported back then.
Cops showed up and found Nina chasing Earl Thomas around a vehicle while holding a knife, while Earl was reportedly holding a gun.
Officers drew their own weapons and ordered both on the ground.
Nina was later arrested and booked for burglary of a residence with intent to commit aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
