A Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver was robbed near his home in Maryland on Friday.
Zach Pascal confirmed to 7News that he was assaulted and robbed at gunpoint in Prince George’s County in Maryland. Investigators stated two suspects approached Pascal and demanded he hand over his property while pointing a gun at him.
WPVI-TV in Philadelphia would later add the suspects took a diamond necklace from him.
According to police, Pascal was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The Eagles said in a statement to 7News that they have been in contact with Pascal and “are happy to hear he is doing fine.”
He entered the NFL with the Washington Redskins as an undrafted free agent in 2017, before moving on to have four productive seasons with the Indianapolis Colts starting in 2018. He would join the Eagles in 2022 as a free agent.

He appeared in all 20 games for the Eagles between the regular season and playoffs.
