Back in November 2018, Alex Smith’s career was turned upside down when he suffered a compound fracture against the Texans, breaking both the tibia and fibula in his right leg.
Smith would have a total of 17 surgeries to get him back to where he is today.
In the late stages of Sunday Night Football — Eagles’ T.Y. McGill jumped offsides on a 4th-and-1 to pretty much seal the victory for Washington and lock the eagles into the No. 6 pick in the NFL Draft.
He not only jumped offsides, but he also jumped right at Smith’s leg for no reason at all. He didn’t even have the ball as the Washington QB grabbed his leg afterwards.
On Monday, the Eagles agreed to terms with DT T.Y. McGill on a one-year contract.
