A Philadelphia Eagles star has hinted at an exit via social media amid reports of an impending trade.
The Eagles will look vastly different in 2024, having lost multiple legendary veterans to retirement while securing a deal for superstar running back Saquon Barkley, as well as pass rusher Bryce Huff.
Huff’s arrival may have signaled the end of Josh Sweat’s spell with the Eagles as the team is understood to be entertaining trade calls for the star defensive end.

The player has taken to Instagram to post that his career in Philly could be over, writing “I will miss you all” along with a praying hands emoji. Eagles beat reporter John Clark, who shared a screenshot of the post, also reports that the team is seeking a trade partner for Sweat.
Josh Sweat’s Eagles Career In Numbers
The 26-year-old was a fourth-round pick from Florida State in 2018 and earned a spot in the Eagles’ rotation in his second season. He became a full-time starter in 2021, earning a Pro Bowl nod that year.

He followed his breakout campaign up with 48 tackles, a career-high, and 11 sacks the following season. He recorded 43 tackles, 6.4 sacks, and two forced fumbles.
The DE has played in 88 games for the Eagles, 49 of which have been starts, making totals of 196 tackles, 35 sacks, nine passes defensed, and seven forced fumbles.
