The Philadelphia Eagles have offered a response to the NFL’s decision regarding their head of security, Dom DiSandro, ahead of their next game.
DiSandro, known as “Big Dom,” will not be permitted to be on the sideline when the Eagles play the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night after getting into a confrontation with 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw last Sunday,” per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The incident ended with DiSandro and Greenlaw getting kicked out of the game but the NFL isn’t stopping there. While they’ve decided to keep the Eagles’ man off the sideline for the ’Sunday Night Football’ fixture, they’re still considering additional punishment.
The Eagles have released a statement following news of the league’s decision
“This is an ongoing conversation with the NFL, and we are going to respect the restriction that is currently in place,” the team noted. “Although Dom will not be on the sideline this Sunday, he will continue to fulfill his role with the team in all other capacities.”
