Yannick Ngakoue is going to be off the Jacksonville Jaguars roster at some point as the relationship from both sides continues to deteriorate. Last month, the defensive end took to Twitter and stated he had no desire of signing a long-term deal with the team after they slapped a franchise tag on him.
“The Jaguars are aware I no longer have interest in signing a long term contract in Jacksonville,” wrote Ngakoue. “Duval, I love you and gave you guys everything I got. I’m thankful for the journey and look forward to continuing my career elsewhere. -91”
He has plenty of teams interested in him, and one of them seem to be on the top of his list.
Despite winning the NFC East in 2019, the Philadelphia Eagles want to bolster their defense to try and return to the Super Bowl.
According to Cody Benjamin of CBS Sports, the Eagles are interested in Jaguars pass rusher Yannick Ngakoue, but only for the right price.

Benjamin noted that the Cleveland Browns, NY Giants, Las Vegas Raiders and Seattle Seahawks are also potential suitors. Ngakoue hasn’t signed his franchise tag with the team and he would need to do so if any trade were to happen.
The 24-year-old went on a posting spree on Instagram last month, putting up Philadelphia Eagles related content and ‘liking’ numerous posts and pictures of himself as a future member of the team.
Ngakoue recorded eight sacks last season and has 37.5 for his career.
