Eagles fans are notoriously hard on their players if they are not performing, but this time around, it was the head coach catching heat from one of the fans inside Lincoln Financial Field.
As head coach Nick Sirianni was leaving the field after a tough last-second 27-24 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, a fan in the stands threw a bouquet of flowers at him.
Sirianni stopped in his tracks and had to be held back by another coach as he seemingly tried to figure out who it was.
You may be asking why an Eagles fan has a bouquet of flowers at the game to begin with. It goes back to last month when Sirianni told reporters about his process of trying to get his team to play better.
“There’s gotta be a message that I have to keep everybody together.”
“I put a picture of a flower up, It’s coming through the ground and the roots are growing out. And the roots are continuing to grow out, and the only way they continue to grow is if we water, we all fertilize, we all do our part.”

The Eagles were 2-5 at that time and are now 3-6, still good or bad enough for second place in the NFC East.
