Nick Foles might not play play for the Philadelphia Eagles anymore, but he is certainly still loved now and forever for stepping in to help the franchise capture its first Super Bowl in history.
That was the case when the news came down of the Chicago Bears trading for him this offseason after he spent an injury filled season with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2019.
It was a move that got criticized by many on why the Bears would choose Foles over Cam Newton, even by a former player.
“Imagine picking Nick Foles and his contract over Cam Newton,” former NFL offensive lineman T.J. Lang said on Twitter.
Philadelphia Eagles defensive back Jalen Mills decided to respond to this tweet.
“Nick Foles won a Super Bowl,” he wrote.

As you know, Cam Newton went to a Super Bowl but has been under fire ever since for choosing to not dive and possibly recover a fumble late in Super Bowl 50.
