The Philadelphia Eagles will play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card Round on Monday night, but they will be without star wide receiver A.J. Brown.
While the team hasn’t ruled Brown out, NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo is reporting that he is not expected to play due to his knee injury.
Brown did not practice on Thursday and Friday, with Monday’s game coming too soon for him. Per Garafolo, should the Eagles advance to the Divisional Round, he is likely to be available.
DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert will be the primary receiving targets in Brown’s absence, but the Eagles will also be able to call upon Olamide Zaccheaus, Julio Jones, and Quez Watkins.
