Other fans pointed out that the wave started before the player was injured and that he got a standing ovation on his way out.
Defensive lineman Moro Ojomo was also stretchered off with a neck injury during the game. The Eagles have since announced that both players are able to move their limbs on the back of the scary incidents.
“I haven’t talked to the doctors yet, but it sounds like they’re moving around,” head coach Nick Sirianni said. “I don’t know anything else besides that.”
Cornerback Zech McPhearson and offensive lineman Josh Andrews left the game with ankle injuries while Rookie linebacker Nolan Smith and wide receiver Olamide Zaccheus exited with shoulder injuries.
