Eagles fans take their fandom and football seriously.
During the NFC Championship game against the 49ers, one fan from San Francisco was inside Lincoln Financial Stadium decked out in gear and pondering why Eagles fans were so upset after the team was forced to play their fourth-string QB in Josh Johnson after Brock Purdy went out with an injury.
His question got him cussed out by a fan above him. Another fan called on the other Eagles fan and called him a ‘bitch’ seemingly because he was being friendly to the 49ers fan.
The Philadelphia Eagles executed and capitalized on the tough time the San Francisco 49ers had to win the NFC Championship and advance to Super Bowl LVII. Behind touchdowns from Jalen Hurts, Miles Sanders and Boston Scott, the Eagles trounced the 49ers, 31-7.
Philadelphia didn’t really need to do too much in the second half as the 49ers could only run the ball after Josh Johnson was ruled out and Purdy couldn’t throw.
Hurts, an NFL MVP candidate, was 15 of 25 with 121 passing yards. He also had 39 yards on the ground on 11 carries. He also scored a touchdown.
