Following a Sunday Night Football stinker on the road at AT&T Stadium against the Cowboys, the Eagles faithful is at it again on Pattison Avenue. One fan was seen holding a “Fire Sean Desai” sign and two trash cans “honoring” Darius Slay and James Bradberry on Monday morning:
The Eagles’ defense has been terrible in 2023, but it wasn’t noticed with the team being undefeated throughout the year. That has changed in the last two weeks with heavy spankings from the 49ers and Cowboys.
Slay, never one to shy away from critics, took to X to respond to the fans and appeared to be taking it in stride as he posted some laughing emojis.

The Eagles’ defense ranked second in the NFL in fewest yards allowed last year, only behind the San Francisco 49ers. This year through 13 games it ranks 21st.
The Birds are still 10-3 and in the driver’s seat to be the first team to repeat as NFC East champions in almost two decades. However, they may need to win the remainder of their games to make it possible because the Dallas Cowboys have not lost a game since their initial matchup in October at Lincoln Financial Field.
