A Philadelphia Eagles fan will likely rue a very poor decision for some time to come following the disheartening results from the Super Bowl last weekend.
They can take consolation in the fact that they aren’t the first, nor will they be the last, to get an ill-advised sports-related tattoo.
The ink in question was meant to commemorate the Eagles’ second Super Bowl win following the game’s 57th iteration. Unfortunately, however, the Kansas City Chiefs are the ones who are Super Bowl 57 champs at the moment.
The tattoo has been altered, with the owner having the famous Jordan Crying Meme placed at the top. We have to admit that is a great save – though, as a Twitter user pointed out, it might have been better with Nick Sirianni’s crying face as the Eagles head coach couldn’t hold back the tears during the national anthem ahead of the game.
Another great option would have been an edit turning LVII into LII, when the Eagles actually won it. But Jordan Crying Meme it is.
Things did look up for the Eagles for most of the contest as they mostly controlled the first half. It turned out to be a spectacle in the second half but was decided by an ill-fated penalty and a field goal at the end.
