To say that Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni was fired up during his team’s Sunday Night Football matchup with the Dallas Cowboys would be an understatement.
Late in the game, with his offense looking to run out the remainder of the clock while holding a nine-point lead, players from both sides engaged in a bit of a brouhaha on the field.
Sirianni didn’t appreciate the actions of the Cowboys players during the mix up, so he had some choice words for his opponents after they were handed a game-sealing personal foul penalty.
“That’s game! F-ck you!”
Despite the cruel manner in which he put it, Sirianni was right. That was game, as his Eagles clinched a 26-17 victory over the Dallas Cowboys, improving to a perfect 6-0 on the season. With the win, they remain the only undefeated team in the NFL.
Up next is a date with their inner-state rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers. You can expect Sirianni to be fired up for that one as well.
