Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown was, almost literally, at a loss for words following the team’s stunning 35-31 home loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday afternoon.
The Eagles gave up a last-minute touchdown to Arizona running back James Conner, dropping them to 11-6 with one game left. The loss probably cost the Eagles the NFC East crown, as they’ll need a victory (at the New York Giants next week) and the lowly Washington Commanders to upset the Dallas Cowboys next week to win the division.
In a video shared by ESPN’s Tim McManus, Brown made it clear that he was in no mood to speak to the media after the loss. Brown simply said, “There’s nothing to say” and calmly walked away from the media scrum:
Things are certainly tense for the reigning NFC Champions right now, to say the very least.
