The Tennessee Titans traded A.J. Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles and it worked out for the standout WR in more ways than one.
The Eagles won that trade.
Last week, Brown finished the season finale with four catches for 95 yards in Sunday’s 22-16 Eagles win, putting him at 88 grabs for 1,496 yards on the season. He needed a 17th game to get there, but is now the franchise’s single-season receiving champ.
He takes his play on the field seriously, but he also takes things he does off the field just as serious.
Brown was on video betting his game check that he would bowl a strike and that is exactly what he did as he didn’t even wait for the ball to strike the pins before he started to celebrate.
Brown is now part of a team that has the No. 1 seed in the NFC. His former team in the Titans will watch the playoffs from home. They closed their season out on Saturday with a seventh straight loss in a 20-16 defeat to the Jacksonville Jaguars. It was a bitter end to a once-promising season that started at 7-3 alongside hopes of a fourth straight playoff berth.
