Philadelphia Eagles’ superstar wide receiver A.J. fortunately avoided what could have been a catastrophic injury during Saturday’s Eagles Autism Challenge race.
Brown rode his biking during the race and posted a live stream on Instagram. Suddenly out of nowhere, a car ran a stop sign and startled Brown.
Brown later took to Twitter and revealed that he didn’t fall off his bike, but that he dropped his phone and had to get out of the way.
Just another reminder to share the roads safely and to always be a defensive driver, pedestrian or cyclist. Thankfully, Brown kept his head up and survived a potentially serious injury.
The Eagles acquired the Pro Bowl wideout from the Tennessee Titans in a blockbuster trade at last year’s draft. Brown then agreed to a mammoth four-year contract extension with Philadelphia worth $100 million.

Brown turned in his best season as a professional, racking up 88 receptions for 1,496 yards and 11 touchdowns. He was also a beast in the postseason, recording 13 receptions for 146 yards and a touchdown.
Brown’s efforts helped the Eagles to their first Super Bowl appearance in five years. They dropped a heartbreaker to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs by a final score of 38-35 thanks to a late Harrison Butker Field goal.
The Eagles will visit the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium to kick off their season in Week 1 on Sept. 1.
