The Philadelphia Eagles are bringing in a former Miami Dolphins star and 1,000-yard receiver to improve their depth on offense.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Eagles have signed the former Dolphin and New England Patriot to a one-year deal worth a fully guaranteed $4.69 million. As Schefter noted, the Eagles are only paying $1.2 million of that.

The 31-year-old Parker spent his first seven seasons with the Dolphins from 2015 to 2021 before getting traded to the Patriots in the 2023 offseason. The former 2015 first-round pick had his best season back in 2019, where he compiled 72 receptions for 1,202 yards and nine touchdowns.
Parker has never come close to repeating those numbers, however. In two seasons with the Patriots, he was limited to 26 games and had just 64 receptions for 933 yards and three touchdowns.

But Parker will get the chance to shine in a star-studded Philadelphia offense led by quarterback Jalen Hurts, newcomer Saquon Barkley and the dynamic receiving duo of A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.
The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Parker is a dangerous deep threat and contested catch specialist who has averaged 14.1 yards per reception in his career. He won’t put up eye-popping numbers in Philly, but Parker should be a serviceable secondary piece for the Eagles’ other stars.
For his career, Parker has 402 receptions or 5,660 receiving yards and 27 touchdowns.
